Volunteer with us!
We are looking for volunteers!
Thank you for considering volunteering with the Sequim Farmers & Artisans Market! Volunteering with us is a great way to connect with your community, work with people of all ages, learn about entrepreneurship, and help keep food local. This is an active market. Depending on the shift you choose, you may be asked to lift or team-lift heavy objects, walk around the market, or interact with children, seniors, or other people of all ages.
The market will operate rain or shine, except in severe weather. Volunteers will be notified if a market is canceled. Volunteers should dress for the weather and be prepared to work on your feet, outdoors, for the duration of their shift. Please wear close-toed shoes. We recommend you bring sunscreen, sunglasses/hat, etc. – we will have a place for personal items on site but ask that you limit what you bring to essentials. Restrooms are available on-site. Market hours are 9 AM to 2 PM.
Volunteer Requirements
- Able to commit to scheduled volunteer times.
- Able to squat, bend, twist, lift, stand or sit for long periods of time, with scheduled breaks. Accommodations can be made.
- Work well with people – all volunteer positions work directly with the public, staff, and other volunteers.
- Volunteers who choose set up, tear down, or all day shifts must be able to lift at least 30 pounds.
