Mark has been with the Open Aire Market since January, 2006. As the Market Director, Mark is responsible for
- recruitment and retention of vendors
- carrying out the Suzanne Arnold Community Booth program
- developing broad-based community support for the Market
- working with the City of Sequim, Chamber of Commerce, and other civic and community organizations
- implementing the Market's live music program.
Mark works closely with the Board of Directors to continually improve the Market's ability to fulfill its mission of supporting local farmers, artists, craftspeople, youth and community organizations by providing a vibrant community marketplace.
Mark and his wife Lisa can be found at their plant and produce booth, A New Leaf, every Saturday at the Market. Stop by and say hello!
Joe Irvin, Site Manager

Joe has been with the Open Aire Market since May, 2007. As Site Manager Joe is responsible for all the logistics of the Market day. He determines attendance, creates the map, ensures a smooth setup and takedown, collects rent and maintains payment records, and assists vendors, Market musicians and participants in the Suzanne Arnold Community Booth program.
Joe can be found every Saturday at the Market Infomation Booth in the Market Square interacting with visitors, selling Market-branded items and answering questions.
